WATCH: Suffragettes and placards: Helen Pankhurst’s moving speech at the #March4Women, celebrating 100 years since women got the vote

Thousands of people marched the streets of London last Sunday for the 6th annual March4Women

The march, organised by Care International UK, was especially poignant this year, on the centenary of votes for women and coming in the wake of #metoo and #timesup.

“Prime Minister Asquith would be turning in his grave”.

The march  was an important and joyous reminder of how far we’ve come in the struggle for gender equality. But  as the wonderful Helen Pankhurst puts it, we won’t stop marching until the job is done.
